Tonkawa 2005 High School graduate, Stony Fath has been selected to take the reigns of high school principal beginning July 1, 2023. Stony will fill the position held by retiring Principal Kyle Simpson, who has served the past 21 years at TMH/THS.
The Northern Oklahoma College Board of Regents voted Feb. 15 to take action on a proposal that has been in the works for many months. The plan was in relation to reducing the FY2024 budget. The current FY2023 budget used one-time pandemic relief funds to balance the budget. As those funds are no longer available for FY2024, the college’s budget will need to be reduced by $1.5 million to balance the budget. The plan that was approved was a culmination of analyzing cost reduction strategies that were suggested by employees and strategies identified by the Executive Council.
The Northern Oklahoma College Division of Fine Arts presents the musical thriller “Sweeney Todd” March 2-5 at the Kinzer Performing Arts Center. Showtimes March 2-4 are at 7:30 p.m. and March 5 at 2 p.m. Directed by NOC’s Chad Anderson, admission is $10 for adults and $7 for students. There is free admission for NOC students and employees with an NOC ID.

It is used to illustrate a horse that has been “tamed.” The horse is still powerful, but is now under control of its master.
