A new sign detailing all of the Tonkawa Public School state championships has been installed on the east side of the armory just above the visitor’s dressing room on the west side of Buc Stadium. The sign was paid for by the City of Tonkawa since it was too expensive to add them to the new water tower as previously bid on the project. This compromise was reached between the city and the school district as part of the land trade between the city and the school where the new water tower is located. The new sign is lit at night as well. Bob Diemer provided the forklift used to install the sign by driver Chad Wright. School staffers helping with its installation were David Fruits, Steve Randall, Corbin Crowder, Kurt Crowder and Kyle Simpson. The sign was made by Legacy Signs.
