Tonkawa’s varsity Bucs struck for 44 points in the second and third quarters to coast to a 52-6 victory over winless OK Union Friday night.All four Tonkawa backs once again had 100-yard plus evenings in a game that provided 561 yards total offense.Blake Bristow rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns. With his 32 yards in pass receiving and 7 yard punt return, he finished with 195 all-purpose yards.Cameron Jackson rushed for 155 yards and one touchdown. Roman Chandler rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Additionally, he caught passes for 39 yards including one for a touchdown. He finished with 142 all-purpose yards.Quarterback Ryan Morgan had 119 total yards, 30 rushing and 89 passing. Additionally, he had three first half interceptions, one that set up a touchdown.Luke Shepherd, Dom Grein and Dalton Pierce led the defense with 12, 12 and 10 tackles respectively -- Shepherd three behind the line of scrimmage, Grein and Pierce two each.Morgan’s first interception came early in the ball game and set up a six minute drive that started at the Buc 18 and got as deep as OKU’s 8. But the Bucs were heavily penalized, five times for 45 yards, including one that cost Tonkawa a Jackson touchdown run from 32 yards out.As a result, there was no scoring in the first quarter.But the Bucs went on a 64 yards drive in four plays early in the second quarter. Bristow got the touchdown run from four yards away. The drive included runs by Jackson of 47 yards and Bristow of 10.Morgan then got his second interception that set Tonkawa up at the OKU 28. Chandler scored on second down from the 19 with two key downfield blocks by Bristow. He had also picked up the first nine yards in the drive.Tonkawa went up 21-0 in a 63 yard, three-play drive with Chandler scoring from 54 yards out on a beautiful zig-zagging run. Bristow ran the two point conversion.The final points of the first half came on a safety when the punt snap was muffed into the endzone and Jaidyn Guzman was there to make the tackle.Chandler scored his third TD in a row on a 13 yard pass from Morgan on the opening drive of the second half, going 59 yards in six plays.
