The Kay County Chapter of Oklahoma 2nd Amendment Association (OK2A) celebrated its one year anniversary at their meeting on January 23. The group heard from Sen. Nathan Dahm, who gave a recap of his work in the Oklahoma Legislature, and then gave details on several bills he will be introducing during the upcoming Legislative Session.
Mayor Brian Hobbs, Newkirk, gave a report of his trip to Washington, D.C., for the January 6 Demonstration at the Capitol. Other speakers included Terry Thompson, OK2A-Kay County Coordinator, who presented an overview of the bills OK2A will be promot ing now through May when the Legislature is in session. Robert Bodick, Ponca City Council Candidate for Ward 4, spoke about his vision for Ponca City and the goals he has if elected.
