The gifted and talented advisory committee was named at Monday night’s meeting of the Tonkawa Board of Education.
Named to the committee are Melissa Qualls, parent; Krista Hembree, parent; Karlie Sparks, parent; Kelly Martin, administrator; Kyle simpson, administrator; Monica Grein, counselor; Julia Bonewell, counselor; Kelly Klufa, SPED coordinator; Misty Bess, librarian; and Angela Reyes, parent/ G&T coordinator.
In other action, board members Casey McAninch, Jerry Hook and Nancy Appleman (Cara Beth Johnson and Mary Allan were absent):
-- Approved bills anounting to $265,570.66 with $125,959.77 from the general fund, $3,618 from the bond fund 22 and $135,992.89 from bond fund 34.
-- Discussed administration of the ACT to the junior class.
-- Approved a contract between TPS and Oklahoma Career Technology Education.
-- Approved Emergency Medical service Provider Plan between TPS and the Tonkawa Fire Department.
