The Billings Christmas parade was held on Saturday, December 18th at 11 a.m. The parade, organized by Lance Stoll and members of the Billings Fire Department, travelled from the East end of Main street and ended at the Fire Department building at the corner of Main and Broadway streets. Prizes for best float awarded were 1st place to the 7-8th grade nativity float; 2nd place was the classic car owned by H.B. Evans and driven by Jack Henson with passengers Ginger Henson and special guest Dale Herde, and 3rd place to the Dylan Beaty Family’s decorated UTV. Costume winners were Lucas Stoll as Santa and Elizabeth Stoll as Frosty the Snowman. Aiden Stoll won 1st place in the decorated bicycle category. Santa made his appearance at the parade riding on the back of the Billings Fire Truck. A special thank you to the Billings Fairchild Center for providing the sacks of candy and fruit given to parade attendees and to the Billings Volunteer Fire Department for hosting Santa and providing a backdrop for photos with Santa and bags of cotton candy to parade participants.
