The Tonkawa Tribe is tentatively planning a May 10 opening for The Hub, an all-in-one entertainment facility being built on the north side of the Tonkawa Casino at I-35 and U.S. 60.
Tribal President Russell Martin said the facility, measuring nearly 32,000 square feet, will employ between 50 and 75.
It will include the longest bar in Oklahoma, one of three Spark interactive bowling alleys in the nation, a state of the art coffee shop, a game arcade, an OMNI virtual reality room, E-Sports stations, etc.
The bar includes 8-86-inch televisions with 32-inch televisions on each side of eight booths and four 15-foot long tables. The 80-foot bar seats 24 and is the longest in Oklahoma. A food truck has been cut in half to provide short orders in the bar area.
The bowling alley will include 12 lanes and four televisions that measure 9x15-feet. It will be the first of its kind in Oklahoma and the third nationwide.
There will be two rental party rooms to use for birthday parties. The arcade will include 18 E-sports stations and 38 of the most popular electronic games.
The OMNI vitual reality room is well equipped as well with the latest state of the art equipment.
There will be two separate movie screens (16’8”X30’4”) complete with Dolby surround sound. Each theatre has a 78 person capacity and electric leather recliners for all movie goers. The concession stand will include the latest Pepsi machine available.
All orders can be made by use of a smart phone in all areas of the facility.
