John Esch, former Tonkawan employed at the Maurer-Neuer Plant in Arkansas City since 1969, has been promoted to the newly created position of pork manager of the plant.He will have the overall marketing responsibilities for the hog kill and cut, fresh pork, pet foods, hog coordinator and lard.Esch has been assistant in the provisions department manager since 1971.He and his wife, Judy, and sons, John Randall, 7, and Craig Michael, seven months, make their home at 1310 North Tenth Street, Arkansas City. Esch is the son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Esch, East Pavement, Tonkawa, and his wife is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Myers, west of the city.THS Students Will Attend Science Seminar A group of students from Tonkawa high school, accompanied by Wes Donathan, science instructor, will travel to Oklahoma City Friday to attend the Frontiers of Science Foundation Spring Symposium. The symposium is titled “A Look At the 21st Century” and will begin at 9 a.m. in the Civic Center Music Hall in downtown Oklahoma City.The morning sessions will consist of lectures by guest speakers, and in the afternoon students will have an opportunity to participate in discussion sessions with the speakers.Guest lectured and their topics will be: Dr. James G. Horsfall, Food and Fiber; Dr. Werner von Braun, Space; Dr. John P. Holdren, Energy; Dr. John D.
