Nicolas was born on December 6, 1955 in Labor Nueva, Julimes, Chihuahua, Mexico to Jesus and Angelita (Garcia) Ochoa. Nicolas and Ana joined in holy matrimony on March 23, 1975 where they initially made their home in La Labor Nueva and together, God blessed them with five wonderful children: Nelly, Coty, Mireya, Abel and Dany. During His time in Mexico, Nicolas hard-work aided Him greatly as He made His profession as a rancher, farmer, and a general caretaker of the Ochoa Family land before immigrating to the United States and, ultimately, settling in Tonkawa, OK working for Bouldin Sod Farm. After leaving Bouldin Sod Farm, Nico and Ana opened their own business when they became restaurant owners. The name of their business-Ochoa’s Mexican Restaurant.

As He began to re-pursue His passion of becoming a sod farmer, His dream of having a sod business became a reality when He guided both of His Sons to owning their own sod businesses and went to work with both of them. His love for His family was on no greater display than it was when watching Him impart His knowledge and expertise of the sod business to His Sons. This made Him extremely proud! His daughters were his love, pride and joy along with his daughters-n-laws and sons-nlaws.
