DAVID LOOPER

A celebration of his life was held on Saturday February 27, 2021 at Fort Oakland Tonkawa Tribal Center. David Looper will be laid to rest at Tonkawa Tribal Cemetery following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Tonkawa, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK 74653.

David was born on November 20, 1979 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to David Leroy Looper Sr. and Mary Kathryne Boyd/ Looper (Combs).

David grew up in Fort Oakland (Tonkawa Indian Village), Tonkawa and Blackwell Oklahoma. He graduated from Blackwell High School. David and his wife Seneca Powers have been together for 12 years. He was a very loyal and dedicated maintenance man and grounds keeper for the Tonkawa Tribe in Fort Oakland.

Survivors include Satante Looper, Zamporah Sunrise Looper 12, Wahnee-ona Moon lit Looper 11, Iyacola luruk Looper 8, Kyanite Ahmadryn Looper 6, Ameritrine Lusaka Looper 5, Diamonhirre Orissa Looper 3 and Levi Garwood 21; sisters, Cynthia Looper and Kathryne Combs.

Casketbearers will be Satante Looper, Jarad Looper, Rodney Looper, Eric Looper, Ira Primeaux , Tim Avery, Bobby Doyal, and Cash Putnam.
