Nearly 100 middle school students participated in the Northern Junior Honor Band Friday and Saturday at Northern Oklahoma College’s Kinzer Performing Arts Center.Schools participating included Tonkawa, Alva, Morrison, and Blackwell. Musicians had auditions on Friday and then performed a concert at the KPAC on Saturday. The guest conductor was Susan Clothier from Oklahoma City. Musical directors included Adam Steuart and Chris Alexander from Alva, J. Wayne Hudson, Blackwell; T.J. Partin, Morrison; and Chris Reeder, Tonkawa.
