The Tonkawa Athletics department has released the schedules for Football, Softball, and Cross Country in the 2024 school year. Pride for the Tonkawa Athletics teams spreads all throughout the town and there are sure to be many in attendance at each match and game to support our young Buccaneers. On top of these packed schedules, the school is hosting a Meet the Bucs event in the Tonkawa High School parking lot on August 24 at 6 pm. At this event, there is expected to be music, food trucks, games, raffles, and booster club booths for the community. During Meet the Bucs, the citizens of Tonkawa will also have an opportunity to meet the Buccaneer players and coaches. The Athletics Schedules are as follows:

The Tonkawa Buccaneers Summer Pride

The Tonkawa Buccaneers Summer Pride has been a summer program that began on June 3, closing out its time on August 1. Summer Pride began as a program for the football team to stay in shape over the summer, but is now open to not only all of the sports departments, but students not in sports as well. The program offers free breakfast and lunch to the students in attendance and have a list of activities that include strength and condition, skills camps, and more to the Tonkawa High School and Middle School students. On their first day this summer, the Summer Pride program had 168 students in attendance and students have continued to show their dedication each day by showing up and working their hardest.
