Knowing the rules for any game is important information in order to play and compete in that game. In fact, knowing what the most important rules are in any given context is very helpful— especially in life.
Psalm 1 offers us a choice, we can be righteous or not be righteous. This is a decision that we must make either by deliberate choice or by default by never making the choice to obey God.
