The Tonkawa Lady Bucs fast pitch softball team fell three times during the past week, most all close calls.
Tonkawa fell to Pawnee Monday night 10-11 and to Frontier 3-4 last Thursday, Sept. 19. Blackwell beat the Lady Bucs 10--0 tuesday, Sept. 17.
The Lady Bucs were to play at Newkirk Tuesday night. they play at Pawhuska at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17 and will host Morrison Monday, Sept. 30.
Tonkawa is now 10-13 on the season.
Pawnee 11 Tonkawa 10
Camaryn Alexander doubled twice and Kristin Martin once in the 10-11 loss to Pawnee Monday night.
Martin also had a stolen base.
Ashton Linton had four RBI’s, Martin two, Taylor Mercer and alexander one each.
Mercer pitched, striking out six.
Blackwell 10 Tonkawa 0
There were no runs and no hits for the Bucs against Blackwell.
Kenzie Glenny pitched 1.1 innings and Mercer pitched 3.1. There were no strikeouts.
Frontier 4 Tonkawa 3
Martin, Mercer and Skylee Perkins all had doubles in the 3-4 loss to Frontier.
Alexander had a stolen base.
Linton, Mercer and Autumn Roberts all had an RBI.
Mercer pitched 2.2 innings, striking out three. Jules Thompson pitched 2.1 innings, striking out two.
