DELORES (DEE) ROXINE BARNHART

Delores Roxine Barnhart of Tonkawa, Oklahoma was the daughter of Herman and Edna Klinger. She was born June 30, 1937 in the Tonkawa Hospital and passed from this life October 10, 2020 in her home with family. Dee graduated from Tonkawa High School with the Class of 1955. She married John Barnhart, Jr. August 22, 1957 and the couple raised their family in Tonkawa. Working a variety of jobs, Delores was a part of the Tonkawa Nutrition Center, Student Personnel Office Secretary at Northern Oklahoma College, served on the Ranch Drive Election Board, a hardworking farm wife, an amazing mother and a doting grandmother. She was not afraid of hard work. She loved her family and friends very much. She enjoyed hosting family holidays, playing cards, Sunday cruises, dear friendships, working in her yard, the simple things in life and spoiling her family every chance she got. Dee is the mother of three children; son, Michael Alan Barnhart of Billings, son, Dale Ray Barnhart of Tulsa and daughter, Debra Kay Ray of Tonkawa, and the grandmother of Kendra Hoover of Waynoka and Aaron Ray of Tonkawa. Delores is survived by; Husband of 63 years, John Barnhart Jr., Tonkawa Son Mike Barnhart and wife Janet, Billings Son Dale Barnhart and Herbert Berry, Tulsa Daughter Debbie Ray and husband Tom, Tonkawa Granddaughter Kendra Hoover and husband Keith, Waynoka Grandson Aaron Ray, Tonkawa Brother Jack Klinger and wife Regona, Tonkawa As well three nephews; Mark Klinger, Matt Klinger, and Mark David Woodruff, and a niece, Sherry Faris. Dee was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Edna Klinger, and her brother and sister-in-law Paul and Kay Woodruff. Graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Riverview Cemetery (Tonkawa) with Pastor Terry Ballard officiating.
