The Kay County Junior Livestock Show will be held Monday-Friday, February 17th-21st at the Blackwell Fairgrounds.
The public is invited.
All Exhibitors, Family, and Donors are encouraged to attend the Awards Banquet on Friday, February 21, at 5:30 p.m. and presentation of awards at 6:30 p.m. If you would like to support an exhibitor and/or the Booster Clubs, you will be able to make donations on the evening of Friday, February

The show schedule follows:
Monday, February 17th:
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Lamb Weigh-In and Classification
9:00 a.m. – 10: 00 a.m. Goat Weigh-In and Classification
11:00 a.m. – LAMB SHOW: EWES FOLLOWED BY WETHERS
GOAT SHOW: 30 MIN. AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE LAMB SHOW- DOES FOLLOWED BY WETHERS
One hour after the conclusion of the goat show, sheep and goats must be removed and hogs may enter the facilities.
10:00 p.m.- All Barns Closed
Tuesday, February 18th:
8:00 a.m. -9:00 a.m. Hog Weigh-In and Classification
10:00 a.m. -HOG SHOW: Purebred Gilts followed by Commercial Gilts 15 minute break, then Barrows.
HOGS MUST BE REMOVED WITHIN ONE HOUR FOLLOWING THE CONCULSION OF THE HOG SHOW.
NO CATTLE ALLOWED IN THE SHOW BARN UNTIL WEDNESDAY MORNING, BUT THEY CAN BE IN WHIT-MAN ARENA
10:00 p.m.-All Barns Closed.
Wednesday, February 19th:
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Cattle Weigh-In and Classification
12:00 p.m. –Cattle Show begins: Heifers followed by Steers.
CATTLE MUST BE REMOVED WITHIN ONE HOUR FOLLOWING THE CONCLUSION OF THE CATTLE SHOW.
PRELIMINARY PREMIUM LINEUP WILL BE POSTED 30 MINUTES AFTER THE CONCLUSION OF THE CATTLE SHOW.
5:30 p.m.- Registration for the Kay County American Farmers and Ranchers/ Oklahoma Farmers Union Junior Livestock Show Speech Contest
6:00 p.m. – AFR Speech Contest in Event Center for Kay County 4-H and FFA Exhibitors
10:00 p.m.-All Barns Closed
Thursday, February 20th:
4:00 p.m. Cattle & Doe Goat Fitting Contest
5:00 p.m. All exhibitors must report to barns for cleanup.
Friday, February 21st:
NO LIVE ANIMALS WILL BE BROUGHT BACK FOR THE AWARDS CEREMONY. Pictures will be taken during show to be used for premium lineup.
5:30 p.m. Doors open for Premium Lineup dinner at the Event Center. Dinner will be donation only.
6:30 p.m. Presentation of Awards
